How long will each lesson take?
It's up to you! Videos are under 5 minutes, then class discussion, writing, and activities can be tailored to the time that you have.
How can I use this in my classroom?
The course comes with a list of varied ideas for integrating it into your classroom routines and culture. The lessons stand alone or can be used as the subject matter for core curriculum objectives. Your purchase also includes membership in an online community of teachers to share ideas and tips as you integrate the lessons in your classroom.
How long will I have access to the course?
You will have access to the course for one year from your purchase date. If you purchase during the first year it will remain active until July 2025.
What age group is it geared towards?
We created the course to be very flexible. As young as 3rd grade or as old as high school. There might be a few manners to skip for really young ones but we've found that the manners are great reminders for all ages.
When will I get the posters?
Posters are currently being finalized and printed. We will send them to the address you provided as soon as they arrive. Absolutely before 2024/2025 schoolyear begins.
Can I share parts of what I receive through the program with other teachers?
I'm so sorry. All the material is copyrighted. Thank you for respecting the research and work that has gone into providing this resource. Watch your inbox for refer a friend discounts to share with other teachers instead.
When can I start using this?
You can start using the lessons right away. Posters will be to you by the end of July and new lessons will be added every week throughout the Summer. All the videos will be populated by the middle of August but there are plenty of full lessons to start with.
I'm on the PTA and we want to put some of our funds towards this. What do you suggest?
Here are some great ways the PTA or PTO can use this!
* Purchase once for your school so you can use the posters in your hallways or in different classrooms around the school. Then, gift the online version to a teacher who might really love it. ($99 investment)
*For an elementary school, purchase the course for one grade. They will all receive the posters and the lessons. They can work together to help their grade increase their confidence and kindness through Modern Manners. (about a $269 investment depending on how many teachers)
*For a middle or high school, purchase the course for one subject area that all kids rotate through. It's especially ideal for English/Health/Homeroom teachers. This allows all the students to get a chance to learn these important skills. (about a $729 investment).
